Mercedes SLK 55 AMG Performance Studio Edition

The SLK is one of the nameplates Mercedes-Benz is killing off in their new naming policy. The next generation will be called the SLC, and it’ll probably be totally different from the existing model. Before that though, they want to pay homage to this model with the super special Mercedes SLK 55 AMG Performance Studio version.

 

Customized by the Performance Studio within AMG, this SLK 55 benefits from unique interior and exterior appointments. It is not exactly a secret that this generation of the SLK is not a looker, but the bespoke changes on this model at least make it feel special.
 
Finished in matte black, the Mercedes SLK 55 AMG Performance Studio features custom wheels with designo red lips. This design complements the interior theme, which uses designo leather red pepper seats and black Alcantara-wrapped AMG Performance steering wheel with contrast stitching. The AMG sport bucket seats are taken from SLS AMG Coupe and feature red pepper stitching for a uniform finish.

 
 
 Mercedes SLK 55 AMG Performance Studio does not get any serious power boost for its non-turbo V8 engine, but it does come with a matte black twin pipe AMG high-performance exhaust system which is pretty awesome.
