2015 Audi TT Debuts With Performance Lowering Springs from H&R in Essen

2015 Audi TT Debuts With Performance Lowering Springs from H&R in Essen [Live Photos]Fresh off the production line in Hungary, the all-new Audi TT coupe is one of the most sought-after German cars right now. The company has done a great job improving the styling from the previous generation, but that that won't stop many people from trying to bring out its unique character.

Suspension specialists H&R have just unveiled a new system for the Mk3 TT that works well with the quattro all-wheel drive and S line suspension, likely to be one of the most popular combination.

The Performance lowering springs (Part-No.: 28789-1) are estimated to bring the car 25mm lower to the ground at the front and 20mm lower over the rear axle. The change is immediately visible while looking at the car from a distance – the perfect European stance. Sway bars and an under-bonnet strut brace are also possible for this small MQB coupe.

The motor of the 8S TT remains completely stock, which means the 2-liter turbo is good for the same 230 PS and 370 Nm. With the quattro system we mentioned, 0 to 100 km/h takes only 5.3 seconds, which is comparable to a basic Porsche Boxster. But there really isn't a lot to talk about here.

If you do happen to want more power, check out the Audi TT by ABT Sportsline we showed you yesterday. It's been boosted to 310 HP and comes with a multitude of cosmetic upgrades that include a full body kit, fresh alloy wheels and a quad exhaust system.
