BMW tuning experts G-Power have just taken the wraps off what they’re claiming is the world’s fastest diesel-powered BMW wagon with the release of the G-Power BMW M550d.
Official: G-Power BMW M550d
Beneath the skin, G-Power has managed to lift power from the tri-turbocharged 3.0-litre inline-six cylinder engine from 381 hp and 740 Nm of torque to in excess of 435 hp and 850 Nm of torque. As a result of that extra power and torque, the G-Power BMW M550d will accelerate to a top speed over 270 km/h. The sprint to 100 km/h takes a mere 4.5 seconds and the theoretical top speed actually sits at 300 km/h. The added power has been achieved thanks to the D-Tronik 5 V1 power module.
Elsewhere, the G-Power BMW M550d has been fitted with a set of 21-inch G-Power Hurricane RR forged wheels wrapped in rubber that measures 255/30 at the front and 295/25 at the rear. Despite measuring 9-inches wide at the front and 10.5 inch at the rear, these wheels are still extremely lightweight thanks to their advanced design.

Spotlight: Range Rover Sport SVR at Alain Class

Sport SVR Alain 0 600x335 at Spotlight: Range Rover Sport SVR at Alain Class
As usual, Alain Class Motors is the first to get the latest exotic models not yet widely available in the market. This time the model in question is the 2016 Range Rover Sport SVR, the super-high-performance variant of the Sport, showing up at the showroom in metallic black.
Now, this exterior color does obscure a bit some of the fine styling details of the Range Rover Sport SVR, such as its unique front spoiler lip and the rear diffuser, but it is one of the coolest colors for this high-speed SUV. It also makes the SVR badge really pop, which is a much better indication of this car’s credentials than any body part!
As for the interior, while each Range Rover Sport SVR will be bespoke to its customer, this particular car seems to be boasting the finest available design. It features exquisite carbon fiber trimming on the dashboard, steering wheel, and door panels, brushed aluminum accents, and two-tone lather upholstery. It is magnificent.
In terms of the technicalities, Sport SVR is powered by Jaguar’s celebrated 5.0 liter supercharged V8 engine, rated at 550 PS and 680 Nm of torque. Distributed between all four wheels via a ZF 8HP70 8-speed automatic transmission, that power takes the SVR from 0 to 100 km/h in 4.5 seconds.

If the Mercedes-Benz S63 AMG Coupe isn’t bold or fast enough for you, then aftermarket tuner Wheelsandmore has the answer. The marque has just released its range of upgrades for the S63 AMG Coupe and as you’d expect, they have left no stone unturned in ensuring the S63 AMG Coupe is even better than standard.

Typically the German luxury coupe’s 5.5-litre V8 engine delivers 585 hp. However, Wheelsandmore have managed to massage out a total of 700 hp and 1100 Nm of torque from this engine. The additional power and torque has been achieved through tweaks to the ECU and the installation of a stainless steel exhaust system which includes valve-controlled mufflers.
Transmitting that power through to the tarmac are a new set of 3-piece forged wheels. They measure 21×9.5 at the front and 21×11 at the rear and are adorned with 265/30 and 295/30 tyres respectively. The wheels features a matte black design as well as six eye-catching spokes.

Starting with the engine, Wheelsandmore has managed to bump power from the 4.0-litre twin-turbocharged V8 engine from its standard 503 hp and 650 Nm of torque in GT S specification through to 600 hp and 700 Nm. The added power comes courtesy of software changes as well as the implementation of a stainless steel exhaust system.
As the name of the tuning company indicates, Wheelsandmore also offers a number of aftermarket wheel options for the Mercedes-AMG GT. They measure 21×9.5 at the front and 21×11.5 at the rear and feature either a six spoke or a twin-six spoke design and come finished in matte black.
