Following the success of their ice blue chrome BMW M4,
Impressive Wrap has now given the same treatment to an Audi RS5.
Granted, it doesn’t look anything as striking as that Bimmer, but still,
the car looks so delicious in this color. You almost want to lick it!
This Californian Audi RS5 has received a professional wrap, applied with the same meticulous care and attention one would give
to a full paint job. It is a special kind of wrap too, with letters and
logos sort of engraved on the bonnet. The owner has apparently decided
to keep the standard wheels, but the mirrors and roof are blacked-out,
which is very cool.
The RS5 was Audi’s answer to BMW M3 E92
at the time, boasting a 4.2-liter FSI V8 engine with 331 kW (450 hp) and
peak torque of 430 Nm (317.15 lb-ft). It was one of the most efficient
V8s of its time, averaging 22.40 US mpg. In terms of performance, it
took the RS5 from zero to 100 km/h (62.14 mph) in 4.5 seconds. Top speed
would normally be limited to 155 mph, but you could have it increased
to 170 at Audi dealerships.
