A couple of days ago we showed pictures of the Mansory Mercedes GL63
spotted on the streets of Moscow. Now the German/Swiss tuner realized
they should probably explain this car a bit and let us know what sort of features it has.
We have already taken a deep look at the
styling kit on the Mansory Mercedes GL63, but just to recap, the car
gets a new vented bonnet made from carbon fiber, extra wide
fenders adding 50mm to the width of the car, side skirts, sills, custom
bumpers, roof spoiler, rear diffuser, and mirror caps. Needless to say,
all these parts are made from carbon fiber.
The wheel/tire combination on this car is
one-piece 10×22 MANSORY 5/1 light-alloy rims and Pirelli tires in size
305/35 ZR 22. It’s a good thing they are so massive, because this car
packs a serious punch and needs better contact with the ground than the
standard model.
Mansory Mercedes GL63 is powered by
AMG’s 5.5 litre V8 bi-turbo to which Mansory has added larger
turbochargers, high-performance sports exhaust system and optimized
engine electronics. The result is 800 hp and 1,200 Nm of torque which
translates into a 0 to 100 km/h in 4.7 seconds and a top speed of 280
km/h.
For the interior the tuner proposes a
combination of crocodile and cowhide leather in black and white,
garnished with carbon fiber elements. You can customize the interior and
order whatever color you desire.
