Some
say cars like the VW Passat – the dull and boring family sedans best
suited for geography teachers – don’t really lend themselves to tuning.
To these people we present this Passat B8, slammed on a set of Oxigin
concave wheels.
Nobody can call this baby boring!
They might call it inconvenient and impractical though, and they would
have a point. The combination of adjustable air suspension and those
massive wheels turns this VW Passat from a versatile car into something
that, save a tuning show or something, is pretty much useless.
Mind you, the suspension on this car
is a sophisticated AirRide system, installed by the guys from
StreeTec,which is fully adjustable. As for the wheels, those Oxigins
measure 9 x 20 inches on all four corners, shod with 245/30ZR20
Pirelli P zero tires. The owner of the car has gone for a matt graphite
finish with black lips that complement the lovely color of the car very
nicely.
