Atlantis Blue Alpina B6 Gran Coupe with Matching Interior Is Stunning in Abu Dhabi

BMW is known for having some of the best shades of blue in the business but the Atlantis Blue shade is by far one of the best out there. Sure, you can go for more expensive choices but do you really want to do that when this one is so beautiful? The perfect example is this Alpina B6 Gran Coupe xDrive Biturbo that recently showed up in Abu Dhabi.

Now we know that the dealership in Saudi Arabia is home to some of the most exclusive BMWs ever made but this thing is absolutely gorgeous from each angle you look at it.

On the outside, the traditional Alpina treatment was applied including the usual stripes on the sides, the logos and badges but also the huge turbine wheels. Round the back, the quad tailpipes of the Akrapovic exhaust dominate the rear bumper and also create a special sound that lets you know there’s a V8 under the bonnet.

Speaking of which, we should tell you that the B6 Gran Coupe Biturbo model is the fastest Gran Coupe in the world even though it doesn’t necessarily have better power numbers than the M6 Gran Coupe for example.

Based on the 650i model it uses the same N63B44 plant but upgraded to make 540 HP and 730 Nm (538 lb-ft) of torque. That’s 20 hp less than the M6 but 50 Nm more. How is it possible to be faster?

The secret lies in the transmission that sends the power to all four corners of the car via a revised xDrive system. That way, the sprint to 100 km/h (62 mph) takes just 3.9 seconds, 0.3 faster than the M model.

Going inside you’ll find that the cabin was decorated with leather in a similar color to the exterior. While we do love the Atlantis blue shade on the outside we’re not absolutely sure about using that color in the cabin as well. To be honest, it feels a bit tacky but hey, to each its own!

I would’ve gone for white Lavalina leather with which you can’t go wrong but maybe the owner had a different idea. Either way, we want to hear your opinion about it!
