The 3 Series will soon get a
facelift that will bring a much needed change of pace for the best
selling car in BMW’s range, including more standard kit. Until then
though, people are definitely not shy about optioning their cars.
The Abu Dhabi BMW Dealership just got a new car in their lot and it’s wearing every possible option in the catalogue and more. The 335i was photographed and introduced to the world the way the guys got us used to for quite some time: via a Facebook gallery.
As you can see they even have a viewing room back there where they show off their most expensive cars and this one is no exception, I’m sure.
That’s because it looks like it’s featuring the entire M Performance Catalogue and those parts are definitely not cheap. We took a look at the US configurator and things got out of hand pretty easily.
The wheels you’re looking at alone cost $4,500. Chip in the $200 black kidney grilles, $695 carbon fiber mirror caps, $650 rear diffuser, $730 front splitter (that can be dressed in any color you want), the $375 strips and $230 side skirt M Performance decals and you’ll be quickly looking at close to $60,000.
On top of that, the car is also featuring an Alcantara wrapped steering wheel with sport displays and, according to the dealership, an M Performance Power kit. That means another couple thousand of dollars, of course, but also more performance.
Thanks to the M PPK, the 3-liter inline 6-cylinder engine’s power output is taken up to 330 HP and 332 lb-ft (450 Nm) of torque. As impressive as that might seem, the cost of adding all of these parts to your car will raise the price tag at around $62,000 and for that kind of money you can get a proper M3.
