Oh Canada, the one place where
people actually annoy you with their politeness. Be honest, wouldn’t you
like to live there? Well, ask any southerner from the US that question
and you might not like what he has to say. Ask me though and I’ll tell
you that it might be the perfect place for me and my family.
However, it’s not the place where I expected a Vorsteiner GTRS3 Widebody kit M3 to be spotted. That’s because Canadians are known to be extremely close in thinking to the San Francisco area residents. They tend to look after the planet and that’s definitely a good thing.
Driving a car that drinks fuel as if there’s no tomorrow seems... atypical, to say the least. And yet here we are, looking at a car powered by a 4-liter V8 and wearing one of the most hardcore kits out there.
In case you didn’t know, apart from the Liberty Walk bolt-on option there are few well-made widebody kits for the E92 out there. Vorsteiner’s take is one of the best, hands down!
The complete package includes a new front bumper, wider front fenders, new side skirts, wider rear quarter panels and a wide arch rear bumper, all of them fitting the stock car perfectly, of course. The thing is on top of all of that, this car is also featuring a new carbon fibre splitter up front along with a new bonnet made of the same material.
As awesome as it might look there is one thing we don’t like on it and that’s the set of wheels the owner chose to roll with. They are simply too small for a wide kit like this, even with those meaty tires on. A bigger diameter would’ve been better. Maybe one of Vorsteiner’s own offerings, like the VFF-101 model for example, but who knows, maybe the car isn’t even finished yet...
