G-Power Kicks things off with the BMW M3/M4

G-Power BMW M4
Just the beginning.
G-Power’s love for BMW models is clear and evident throughout their high-powered, triple-digit history. The Bavarian vehicles have seen a large array of upgrades and tuning from superchargers and turbochargers to LPG conversions that eclipse the 200 mph mark. Now that the new BMW M3 and M4 are on the market, G-Power is starting things off with a bang by adding on a few basic but effective upgrades for the coupe and sedan.

To start things off, the mechanically-identical 3.0-liter twin-turbocharged inline-six cylinder units were given a generous boost in power thanks to an advanced external power module. G-Power’s Bi-Tronik 5 V1 reads all of the information gathered by the sensors prior to reaching the factory processor and modifies them, then sends the altered information to the factory ECU for better performance. The Bi-Tronik 5 V1 also ensures maximum reliability by only activating the performance increase when the proper temperature is reached and deactivating when the maximum oil temperature is hit. All of the factory diagnostic features also remain. The new module in the BMW M3 and M4 boosts output up to 513 horsepower (520 PS) from 5,500 to 7,300 RPM and 516 lb-ft. of torque from 1,850 to 5,500 RPM. This allows both the M3 and M4 to reach 62 mph in just 3.9 seconds and 124 mph in 11.8 seconds from rest, while top speed is pushed back all the way to over 202 mph with the electronic removal of the limiter.

The new boost in power for the BMW M3 and M4 is pretty exciting but G-Power wanted to make sure the chassis was sharp enough to handle all the extra ponies. Here, the German tuning company added on a set of their lightweight forged wheels made from aerospace-grade aluminum alloy to reduce rotating mass where it counts. The new G-power Hurricane RR forged wheels boast a double-spoke design and measure 20-inches in diameter at the front and rear, and wear 245/30 ZR20 and 285/25 ZR20 Michelin tires, respectively. To further enhance handling, the entire chassis is upgraded with a G-Power GM4-RS suspension with adjustable height and rebound to create the optimum setup.

All of the new upgrades from G-Power are available for both the BMW M3 and M4 models as a full package or individual components. The new G-Power Bi-Tronik 5 V1 is available for 3,358.80 Euros while the top speed limiter is priced at 3,451 Euros, extra. The forged wheels and tires cost 7,998 Euros and the GM4-RS suspension is available for 2,427.49 Euros. This should also only be the beginning of the upgrades that will be available from G-Power for the BMW M3 and M4 models, so stay tuned.
