Yesterday we showed you a finely tuned BMW M3 F80 sedan by MM-Performance,
boasting 540 horsepower. If, for some strange reason, you didn’t like
that, check out this Yas Marina Blue example. The Kaege BMW M3 is only
slightly weaker than MM’s offering at 520 horsepower.
Even so, Kaege BMW M3 is remarkably
more powerful than the standard car. The twin-turbo 3.0 liter
straight-six engine in this model – and the M4 – fires 430 horsepower
and 540 Nm of torque at the rear wheels. After Kaege has installed their
plug&play electronic box of magic on it though, those numbers rise
to 520 PS and over 700 Nm.
The beauty of Kaege BMW M3 performance
package is that it’s done via software and no mechanical modification is
needed. You may, however, want to beef up the rest of the car to help
it cope with the extra oomph. That is why the tuner offers a set of
professional KW variant 3 coilover suspension. It’s pricey, but totally
worth it.
Other goodies offered for the M3 by Kaege
include a set of 20-inch BBS alloy wheels shod with Michelin Pilot
Super Sport tires and carbon fiber seat panels for enhancing the looks
of the interior.
