The BMW Abu Dhabi Dealership has
been the host of some rather impressive cars this year and to end with a
bang they just brought out a special M5. Initially, the Facebook post
they made claimed that the car is dressed in BMW’s most expensive paint,
Pure Metal Silver but as it turns out, it’s just Silverstone.
That doesn’t mean that it’s bad looking. Oh no. But by comparison, this color fades compared to the $10,500 one. On the upside, the M5 received some nice tuning parts that give it a special look anyway.
Amongst them you’ll notice AC Schnitzer’s front spoiler splitter, made of carbon fiber and a new rear diffuser that houses four Akrapovic tips from the titanium exhaust. We’re guessing that this beauty will be noticed a long time before you actually hear it because of the new sound.
But the aftermarket bits are just the icing on the cake. Underneath them lies a plethora of optional features including Coral Red leather and a Bang&Olufsen sound system. The sound alone must’ve cost the owner at least $4,500.
One thing that we don’t understand is why the steering wheel is standard. As far as we know, all M models come fitted with the M Sport steering wheel for free, which is lightyears ahead of the standard one both in design and feel. Who knows, maybe the driver prefers the old-school one... In the meantime, let’s admire the beauty of this thing.
