It’s been a while since we last featured anything from TAG Motorsport,
but that doesn’t mean they have been sitting idly by. In fact, they
have quite busy, working on new projects such as this absolutely
gorgeous Ferrari 458 Spider. This car makes the new 488 GTB look like a
bit of mess styling-wise.
The objective this time was not to
completely revamp the looks of the Ferrari 458 Spider, because it
already looks sufficiently cool, but rather to make a few subtle changes
in order to boost the good features of the car. So TAG decided all this
Spider needs doing to it is a set of wheels and some suspension
adjustment.
For the suspension they went to Novitec
Group who specializes in high-performance aftermarket Ferrari parts.
These guys, whose headquarters isn’t that far from Ferrari’s factory,
are the absolute authority when it comes to tuning Prancing Horses. With
the new suspension in place, TAG needed a set of equally high-end
wheels to complement it.
The job of creating a set of bespoke rims
for TAG Ferrari 458 Spider was given to ADV1, and they came up with a
custom version of their celebrated ADV05 M.V2 SL Series in sizes 21×9.5
inch at the front and 22×12.5 inch on the rear. The finish is matte
black to match the whole blacked-out theme they seem to be going for
here.
