In January 2015, this metallic blue machine was the subject of an extensive photo shoot organized by American wheel specialists Vossen. They traveled to Yokohama and just like us, they were amazed by the complexity of the Skipper body kit.
Clad in their widebody kit and fitted with air suspension, the GT-R also sports a complex array of carbon fiber elements. Nissan's supercar killer has been around since 2007, but each year, tuners figure out how to give it an original makeover.
Beginning at the front, we notice the Front Lip Diffuser specifically designed for the R35. The aero package also includes a 100% flat floor pan that reduces drag. Together, these two parts alone will set you back about $2,300 (280,000 yen).
Also, part of the kit is a set of unique side underskirts, which work well with the widebody package, as well as a rear diffuser. The front fenders are the most interesting bit here, sine they add two vents at the front and five more at the back. They can be yours for $1,900 (230,000 yen) in the carbon fiber finish while the rear fenders cost an additional $1,700 (200,000).
As to the final touches, we have to mention Vossen's VFS1 wheels and the custom LED-infused headlights, which give any GT-R a 2014MY look.
