The
first thing that usually pops into mind when you see a slammed car
sporting a massive wide body kit is OK, so it looks great, but I bet
it’s an absolute nightmare to drive. Well, be that as it may, the guys
from Vossen wheels decided to prove it is not impossible by driving this
Prior Design Widebody BMW 650 all the way from Miami to Los Angeles.
The reason for this cross-country
trek was make it in time to L.A. for the 2015 Bimmerfest West, and also
to prove these cars are still usable in spite of their extreme looks.
The Yas Marina Blue Prior Design Widebody BMW 650 looks absolutely
awesome standing still, but it is utterly beautiful on the move.
The ingredients of this unique Bimmer
include a wide body kit from Prior Design with custom bumpers, fenders,
grilles, and aero parts that make the whole thing look more like an M6,
Brembo brakes with red calipers, KW K3 Variant coilovers, Meisterschaft
exhaust system, and of course a set of gunmetal Vossen VPS-306 wheels
shod with Pirelli P-Zero tires. The car is put together by Ultimate
Auto.
There are few things more enjoyable
than traveling long miles in a good car surrounded by scenery and
amazing driving roads. The only way it could be any better is to attend a
cool car show afterwards, and maybe a few parties after that!
