Many
big time tuners these days have a special division dedicated to
restoring classic cars. It is both good for their prestige and a very
lucrative business. So after Brabus and Kahn now TopCar announces they are entering the classic car game with this 1974 De Tomaso Pantera.
This is a fully restored De Tomaso
Pantera with like-new interior and powertrain. It serves as an example
of what TopCar’s classic car division can do for you, even though they
say it is just a “hobby” for them.
TopCar is of course known for their
extravagant taste as seen with their excessive use of wide body kit,
crocodile leather, and super vibrant colors. Mercifully that peculiar
taste does not rear its head here as they seem to be sticking with
originality rather than going down the restomod route. Granted, the
interior features some overwhelmingly modern leather and stitching, and
the dials are pretty 21st century as well. But that’s all the deviation
from the roots you can find in this car.
This is the finest example of De Tomaso
Pantera we’ve ever come across. If TopCar lavishes the same attention
and care on all their classics they could establish themselves as an
authority in this business.
