Power upgrade costs €2,990
GeigerCars is introducing their upgrade program tailored to
the Chevrolet
Corvette Z06.
With 659 PS (484 kW) and 881 Nm (650 lb-ft) under the hood,
the new Z06 specification of Chevy's C7 surely isn't lacking in the power department,
but even so GeigerCars decided there is room for even more and managed to dial
the supercharged V8 6.2-liter to a tire-shredding 730 PS (537 kW) and 944 Nm
(697 lb-ft) of torque.
Details about
the car's performance are not available at this point, but we remind you
the stock Corvette Z06 runs the 0-60 mph (0-96 km/h) sprint in 2.95 seconds
when fitted with the optional automatic gearbox while the manual
version completes the same task in 3.2 seconds. It should be mentioned
these numbers refer to the version equipped with the optional Z07
Performance Package.
Getting back to the tuned Z06 at hand, the power hike will set you back €2,990 and for an extra
€5,500 the Corvette Z06 can gain a lowering kit with offset steering knuckles.
Those willing to spend even more can get the €9,900 aerodynamic styling kit
which includes a new front spoiler lip (with side flaps), front grille
(including radiator protection) under-bumper tray, side skirts, rear valence
(with diffuser), rear spoiler and a license plate holder.
Last but not least, GeigerCars is also providing a
very loud (94 decibels) sports exhaust system with valve control priced at
€4,900.
