Torque rises to 710 Nm
VOS is introducing their aftermarket package developed for
the BMW
M4 Coupe.
The M4 seems to be a popular car among tuners as in the last
few months we have seen numerous tuning packages tailored to the
high-performance coupe from Bavaria which has now received the VOS treatment.
Work started underneath that muscular hood where the turbocharged six-cylinder,
3.0-liter engine has been massaged to deliver a strong 550 PS (404 kW) and 710
Nm (524 lb-ft) which makes it substantially more powerful than a regular M4
that offers 431 PS (317 kW) and 550 Nm (406 lb-ft).
The added power comes together with an electronic top speed
limiter removal that allows the unrestricted M4 top out at 193 mph (310 km/h)
whereas the stock M4 is capped by BMW at 155 mph (250 km/h) or 174 mph (280
km/h) if fitted with the optional M Driver's Package.
VOS is asking €2,490 for the engine upgrade and if you have
another €4,199 to spare, they can also throw in a KW clubsport chassis variant
3 while the custom stainless steel exhaust system with valve control is an
extra €4,890.
A higher output requires more stopping power and this BMW M4
Coupe has been fitted with Brembo brakes with 380x34 mm discs and
six-piston calipers at the front available for €5,425 along with 380x28 mm
and four-piston calipers in the back for €4,425. This car also has carbon
fiber side mirror caps (€599) and rear diffuser (€799) along with 20-inch
high-gloss black alloy wheels from BBS wrapped around in 255/30/20 front
and 275/30/20 rear Vredestein tires available as a full set for €4,595.
