Costs €90,000
German tuner Hperformance has worked on the previous
generation Audi TT RS and managed to extract a lot more power.
Audi fans are patiently waiting for the new TT RS likely due
next year, but that hasn't stopped Hperformance from working on the old one in
collaboration with MRT Performance. Dubbed "Clubsport", the tuning
package focuses primarily on the five-cylinder, 2.5-liter turbocharged gasoline
engine which has received a new HPXT530 turbocharger, along with a
custom charge air cooler, high-pressure pump and a sports exhaust system. Add
all of these goodies and the motor's output is bumped from the 360 PS (265
kW) and 465 Nm (343 lb-ft) of the standard TT
RS Plus to no less than 510 PS (375 kW) and 690 Nm (510 lb-ft) of torque.
There's
no word regarding performances, but rest assure it's a lot quicker than
the stock TT RS Plus Coupe which runs the 0-62 mph (0-100 km/h)
sprint in 4.1 seconds and tops out at an electronically-capped 174 mph
(280
km/h).
Hperformance is asking a hefty €50,000 for this upgrade
which also includes a Clubsport rollover bar, MOVIT brakes with 370x35mm
front & 342x28 rear discs, along with three-way KW Clubsport coilovers,
a new rear wing and other body bits and pieces made from carbon fiber. The car
featured in these images is actually for sale and costs €90,000 with all the
bells and whistles.
