0-100 km/h acceleration in 3.6 seconds
Brabus will hold the world premiere of a new tuning program
for the Mercedes-AMG GT S during the 2015 Frankfurt Motor Show.
The tuning company has prepared an aerodynamic body kit made
from carbon fiber and developed in a wind tunnel. It includes a new spoiler for
the front bumper, air outlets for the front fenders, rocker panels and rear
diffuser. The design is completed with a set of 21-inch multi spoke alloy
wheels.
In terms of technical improvements, the car has received an
extra 90 PS (66 kW) thanks to a new mapping for the injection system and
ignition and a slightly higher boost pressure. The total output now stands at
600 PS (441 kW), while the peak torque reaches 750 Nm (553 lb-ft) at 4,800 rpm.
Thanks to the power boost, the GT S now sprints from a standstill to 100 km/h (62 mph) in 3.6 seconds and reaches a top speed of 325 km/h (201 mph).
