New Mazda models really are coming out of the woodwork and that means there's work to be done if the Zoom Zoom brand is to get noticed in the tuning world. Ahead of the Tokyo Auto Salon 2015, where the creme de la creme of the local car scene will present their work, Mazda has unveiled a series of concepts that it has developed in-house.
For many, the highlight will be the track version of the MX-5 roadster, a cup car. But to be honest, we're more taken with the CX-3. This baby SUV was just recently presented at the Los Angeles Auto Show and is now coming to Tokyo as a lowered car.
A new body kit has been designed for the project and it features extensions for the front and rear bumpers, covered in a new color combo.
Also new is the Demio Racing Concept 2015, which is a tuned version of the new Mazda2 supermini. It features the same hot treatment and a color combination that focuses on the white-black contrast.
Also to be presented are the CX-5 and Atenza (Mazda6) Prestige-style concepts, which from what we gather will make it into production as top-spec limited edition models in late 2015. They feature black paint, subtle brushed elements and larger gunmetal gray alloy wheels.
The Tokyo Auto Salon 2015 will be held in the Chiba Prefecture between January 9 and the 11th, 2015.
