Not that the Brabus Mercedes G63 6×6
is anything less than spectacular in dealing with rough terrain – it’s
better than the standard version simply because it’s more powerful – but
the Bottrop-based tuner went ahead and created a version fully equipped
with various off-road gear. The fact that it looks a lot cooler like
this is enough reason for anybody to justify the effort!
If we cut right to the chase, the main
off-road features on this badass vehicle include protective mesh grille
for air intakes, front guard in matte black, a seriously cool snorkel,
roof rack with fog lights and blacked-out steel plates, thicker roll
bars, extended running boards and rear bumper, protective bars for the
taillights, tonneau cover, and the all-important electric winch.
Brabus Mercedes G63 6×6 is an enhanced
version of the standard 6×6 featuring an even more luxurious interior
with tons of leather and carbon fiber, carbon fenders, and a tweaked 5.5
liter twin-turbo V8 engine with an astonishing 700 horsepower. Combine
this lot with the 6×6’s ground clearance, bespoke suspension, ginormous
wheels, and onbaord compressor for inflating the tires, and you have the
perfect car for surviving the apocalypse.
The only problem is the cost, which is in
the neighborhood of half a million Euros. In other words, only the rich
will survive. The rest of us are doomed!
