As
usual, Alain Class Motors is the first to get the latest exotic models
not yet widely available in the market. This time the model in question
is the 2016 Range Rover Sport SVR, the super-high-performance variant of the Sport, showing up at the showroom in metallic black.
Now, this exterior color does obscure a
bit some of the fine styling details of the Range Rover Sport SVR, such
as its unique front spoiler lip and the rear diffuser, but it is one of
the coolest colors for this high-speed SUV. It also makes the SVR badge
really pop, which is a much better indication of this car’s credentials
than any body part!
As for the interior, while each Range
Rover Sport SVR will be bespoke to its customer, this particular car
seems to be boasting the finest available design. It features exquisite
carbon fiber trimming on the dashboard, steering wheel, and door panels,
brushed aluminum accents, and two-tone lather upholstery. It is
magnificent.
In terms of the technicalities, Sport SVR
is powered by Jaguar’s celebrated 5.0 liter supercharged V8 engine,
rated at 550 PS and 680 Nm of torque. Distributed between all four
wheels via a ZF 8HP70 8-speed automatic transmission, that power takes
the SVR from 0 to 100 km/h in 4.5 seconds.
