With the launch of the new 488 GTB
at the Geneva Motor Show, pretty soon the lovely Ferrari 458 Italia
will be called into the office and handed its retirement papers. To try
and cheer up the owners of this model, tuner MEC Design has come up with
a parting gift for the 458. It’s an updated version of their Scossa Rossa styling package.
Some of you may already be familiar with
MEC Design Ferrari 458 package, but in its latest iteration the body kit
comes with a 3 piece front lip spoiler, awesome looking winglets on the
sides of the bumper, side skirts and side skirt extension, and 3 piece
rear diffuser with under-ride protection that gives the back of the car a
whole new look.
Also included in the package is MEC
Design lowering suspension with up to 60mm reduction in ride height and a
set of meCCon series type CCd5 in matte black. The wheels measure
9,5Jx21 and 12,5Jx21 inch front and rear with 245 and 345 tires
respectively.
MEC Design also offers for the Ferrari
458 Italia a sports exhaust system, sound version Apocalypse, and an
interior kit consisting of carbon/ leather sports steering wheel, 6
piece carbon dashboard, 3 piece carbon middle console. Even the doors
get a 4 piece carbon trim package.
