Following the launch of their Startrack Mercedes-AMG C63,
Wheelsandmore has now come up with a similar performance package for
the AMG GT, which makes sense since both cars use the same engine. This
Wheelsandmore Mercedes AMG GT, which is their second take on the sports car, packs 626 hp and 770 Nm of torque.
That is considerably more than the
standard AMG GT which even in the S-model has to make do with only 510
horsepower. WaM has achieved the extra power by fitting a 100 cells
sports catalytic converters, a brand new valve controlled exhaust system
which replaces the rear mufflers, optimized sports air filters and
adapted mappings of electronic control. So the twin turbos remain
unchanged, presumably for the next stage.
As with the previous work, the new
Wheelsandmore Mercedes AMG GT remains visually intact for the most part,
except for a set of multi-part forged F.I.W.E. wheels with maximum
concave design. They are 21 inch large in diameter and are shod with
245/30/21 front and 305/25/21 rear Michelin tires. You can also some
stripes and graphics if you want, but it is recommended that you don’t.
What you shoudl get is WaM’s handy suspension lift kit which provides up
to 30mm of extra ground clearance to get you out of sticky situations.
