You might be familiar with Swiss tuner DS automobile & autowerke as they are responsible for creating some of the coolest Hamann Bimmers we saw last year. Their latest offer is a superb BMW M235i Cabriolet which they have tricked out a little.
Unlike most other DS Hamann cars, this
BMW M235i Cabriolet does not get much in the way of styling
modification. Just about the only upgrade is a set of matte black Hamann
Anniversary Evo wheels which complement the black paint job on this
car. And you know what? That’s all the upgrade the M235i ever needs.
We’re not saying BMW M235i Cabriolet is a
perfect car, but it’s definitely in the perfection neighborhood. Let’s
see what this little bad boy offers: first, it’s a rear-wheel-drive
four-seat convertible with a compact size and low weight. That’s a
recipe, as every car guy instinctively know, for sheer driving pleasure.
Then there is the fact that it’s a convertible, with a simple and
elegant soft-top – much better than the unsightly folding hardtop on the
bigger 4 Series. And of course, we have the straight-six turbocharged
engine which is the meat of the package.
The engine in the M235i churns out 326 hp
which dispatches the car from 0 to 100 km/h in 5.2 seconds. Honestly,
unless you are a complete sucker for M cars, this car makes more sense
than the M2 and M4.
