If the understated HG Motorsports AMG GT
we just showed you doesn’t float your boat and you want something a bit
more flamboyant, check this out. This is a super sick Mercedes AMG GT
Wide built by West Coast Motoring (WCM) in California for the 2015 SEMA
show.
This car is hands down the most insane
body kit we have seen so far for the German sports car. WCM’s Mercedes
AMG GT Wide Body is a free take on Prior Design’s PD800GT
styling package for the GT, and the first one to be built in the U.S.
The show car also rocks a set of custom 21-inch Forgiato wheels.
While the standard PD800GT turns the GT
into a wide, yet very serious looking machine, the Mercedes AMG GT Wide
Body WCM has come up with seems like it was designed to first and
foremost look striking. So it gets Liberty-Walk style fender extensions,
a set of custom aero parts including front spoiler, side skirts, side
vents, rear diffuser and ducktail spoiler, and a couple of other bits
and bobs, the combination of which give the car wonderfully crazy look.
We shouldn’t forget the role of those Forgiato wheels which have a
profound effect on the overall result.
