The
S-version of the Mercedes AMG GT is such a perfect sports car that you
really wouldn’t want to mess around too much with it. But if you
absolutely have to modify it in some way, HG Motorsports has just done
up an AMG GT that could serve as a template.
It’s a pretty light tuning job they have
done here and improves just a few key aspects of the car. HG Motorsports
Mercedes AMG GT looks pretty much standard on the outside, save for the
Edition 1 aero kit on this particular model, and those rather glorious
HRE wheels. They are back by a light engine power upgrade kit.
The wheels on HG Motorsports Mercedes AMG
GT are finished in a light gold color, measuring 20 and 21-inch on
front and rear axles, and they are complemented with a set of KW
suspension system featuring height-adjustable KW springs, bump stops,
and dust protection, while the series dampers remain and the damper
control in the AMG GT can still be used. The ride height can now be
adjusted up to 20 mm on both axles.
As for the power, HG Motorsports has
installed on the AMG GT S an exhaust system with their own downpipes and
also a new engine control unit with high-performance software. The
result is an extra 60 horsepower on top of the standard 510 hp and a top
speed of 308 km/h.
