We
have good news for the fans overpowered compact sports cars. This is the
new HPerformance Audi TT RS and it packs a whopping 750 horsepower.
Yes, it still has the five-cylinder turbo engine it came out of the
factory with!
This all comes down to the expertise of
the German tuner in extracting insane amounts of power from tiny engine
sizes. HPerformance Audi TT RS has received a heavy treatment to get
that kind of power, starting with a tuned GTX-35 turbocharger. It was
then hooked up to Hperformance exhaust manifold and complemented with
90mm air intake tubes, intercooler, and 90 mm Clubsport exhaust system.
Other mods include high-pressure fuel
pump and optimized fuel lines, upgraded injectors, spring-borne sintered
metal clutch, and Audi R8 ceramic brakes for optimum stopping power.
All these parts are synchronized thanks to MTR-Performance control
software. Thus, HPerformance Audi TT RS, nicknamed Black Hawk, is
capable of producing 750 horsepower and 880 Nm of peak torque.
It is up to you to decide whether this
power is worth the 50,000 Euros asking price for the upgrade kit. You
can just order the turbo for 10 grand if you want, but then you only get
like 600 PS.
