Audi RS3 by MTM packs 435 PS punch and does 300 km/h
MTM is ready to push the Audi RS3 Sportback into supercar territory thanks to its new power boost program. It seems more and more tuners are working on the RS3 mega hatch as after ABT and DTE Systems, now time has come for MTM to extract more power from the 5-cylinder 2.5-liter turbo engine. The latest kit is actually the strongest of the bunch as output has been dialed from 367 PS (270 kW) and 465 Nm (342 lb-ft) to 435 PS (320 kW) and 605 Nm (447 lb-ft) of torque.
Once the power boost is implemented, the RS3 Sportback will cover the 0-62 mph (0-100 km/h) sprint in as little as 3.9 seconds, thus making it 0.4s quicker than the standard car. It’s the same story with the top speed as this has increased from 174 mph (280 km/h) to more than 186 mph (300 km/h). If you are interested in the 0-124 mph (0-200 km/h) run, MTM tells us the task will be accomplished in just 14.1 seconds.
Aside from packing substantially more punch, the RS3 also has the tuner’s 19-inch Nardo wheels with Michelin Pilot Super Sport tires available as a set for €2,900. There’s also a stainless steel exhaust system priced at €4,250, upgraded brakes at €3,490, and a performance suspension offered for €2,390. This particular car also has the optional front spoiler, rear diffuser, and side mirror caps made from carbon. An optional engine cover made from the same material will soon be available.
As far as the interior is concerned, MTM has a leather-wrapped steering wheel with carbon accents for €1,850 and you can optionally go for carbon seats to shave weight. Rounding off the list of tweaks are the door lights projecting the tuner's logo for €80.
Fitted with all the bells and whistles, the Audi RS3 Sportback by MTM costs €75,044 (including car, installation, and taxes). For those with an even bigger thirst for power, a more advanced upgrade kit is in the works and will take the 5-cylinder to around 500 PS (368 kW).
