If you are already bored with the way your BMW X4
looks, and who can blame you, do not despair because help is at hand
from Japan. This is 3D Design BMW X4 and it features one of the nicest
aftermarket styling kits available for the Sport Activity Coupe.
As the more eagle-eyed readers may have
already spotted, the 3D Design BMW X4 you see here is an M Sport
version, distinguished by the virtue of its sporty front and rear
bumpers and blacked-out grilles. So make sure your car has the M package
before you order this kit, otherwise it just won’t fit!
Anyhow, the main ingredients of 3D Design
BMW X4 styling recipe include a front lip spoiler that attaches to the
stock m bumper, rear diffuser with cutouts for four tailpipes, tailgate
spoiler (this one fits all X4 models), and a small roof spoiler. All
these parts are, of course, made from carbon fiber.
Also included in the 3D Design package
for BMW X4 are sport aluminum pedals, sport exhaust system with valve
control, and a wide range of forged wheels. 3D does not do performance
upgrades and engine treatments, but if you go for the four-cylinder X4
xDrive28i or the straight-six X4 xDrive35i you won’t have any power
issues. The latter is particularly good as it has 300 horsepower.
