Kahn
Design, or to be more precise their Chelsea Truck Company subsidiary,
is a well-known name among Land Rover Defender fans. They make some of
the coolest 90s and 110s in the world, this awesome Wide Track pickup
truck being one.
This matte black Kahn Design Defender truck reminds us of the fully tricked-out Defender Angelina Jolie drove in Tomb Raider,
albeit with fewer off-road gear. Instead of equipment that lets it pass
through the most unforgiving terrain, this Defender is outfitted with
elements that make it look cool.
Now, a car like this looks its best
in the city center, in front of a fancy restaurant or casino, where it
just doesn’t belong. But Kahn has been there and done that. So for this
photoshoot they decided to take the Wide Track Landie out to the woods,
where the roads are covered in snow and ice. This is a reminder that
Kahn Design Defender is still a highly capable machine in spite of its
fancy suit.
The main highlights of the Wide Track
styling package installed on this Defender include front and rear wheel
arches with a square sectioned wide arch kit, military grille, front
bumper, sump guard, cross hair exhaust system, mud flaps, roof rack, LED
lights and Shadow Chrome headlamps.
