Over the past few days Brabus
has been teasing us with the cars they are bringing to this year’s
Geneva Motor Show. But they kept the best for last. Or almost last. This
is the Brabus Mercedes S-Class Rocket 900 which, as the name suggests,
packs 900 horsepower.
This car is a more powerful, more bonkers version of the Brabus S 850
we are intimately familiar with. We don’t know if 50 extra horsepower
is going to have that big a difference in the performance of the car,
but we sure like what they’ve done with the exterior of the S-Class in
this latest Rocker treatment. That is enough of a reason to choose this
over the 850.
Granted, the styling kit on the Brabus
Mercedes S-Class Rocket 900 is not that different from the ones we’ve
seen before. But the aero parts are more pronounced, the wheels are
larger, and the contrast between the white exterior and the carbon fiber
aero kit is just fantastic. What’s more, this car comes with a ‘900’
badge on the boot, which is really cool!
The Rocket is powered by a V12 bi-turbo
engine and features a revised, Maybach-inspired interior with exclusive
features such as sport steering wheel and ambient lighting. Technical
details of Brabus Mercedes S-Class Rocket 900 will be released at the
Geneva Motor Show.
