G63 gets 620 HP & 820 Nm
FAB Design has released an upgrade package tailored to the
Mercedes-Benz G55 and G63 AMG.
Still a popular model among tuners, the G-Class has received
some thorough revisions from FAB Design who developed a bespoke body made from
composite and carbon fiber compatible with the G55 and G63 AMGs. The new visual
enhancements include custom front and rear spoilers, revised side skirts along
with bigger wheel arches with enough room to host a set of lightweight 23-inch
wheels shod in 305/55 R23 tires.
FAB Design didn't release pics of the interior but they did
say the cabin has been pampered with custom leather and Alcantara as well as
carbon fiber accents. Interestingly, the spare wheel has been replaced by a
special tire failure set in order to make room for an extra storage compartment
featuring an illuminated hawk.
Lastly, power upgrades are also in tow as the G55 has been massaged to deliver 530 HP (390 kW) and 775 Nm (572 lb-ft) whereas the G63 was upgraded to 620 HP (456 kW) and 820 Nm (605 lb-ft).
