German tuner TC Concepts
is off to a flying start in 2015, a year they have named “the year of
evolution.” They just released a teaser picture showing a Lexus RC – or
maybe that’s a RC F – boasting a hugely impressive styling kit.
TC Concepts Lexus RC body kit is a wide
body package, featuring custom front wings with wide arches and widened
rear fenders, accommodating fat, meaty wheels and tires. There is not
picture of the front-end, but since the car features a big tail spoiler,
chances are it is complemented, both visually and aerodynamically, with
a sizable splitter at the front. The aero package is completed with a
prominent diffuser.
Other little details of this Lexus RC
body kit include neatly designed side vents, smoked lights, extra air
ducts, and race car-style tailpipes integrated into the rear diffuser.
This is a work in progress, so we can expect some interior mods as well
as an engine treatment, most likely for the 5.0 liter V8 of the RC F
only.
With the RC and RC F Lexus is trying once
again to put an end to BMW’s reign in the sports car segment.
Unfortunately for them, the warriors BMW has fielded this time around,
especially the M3/M4, are some of their best works ever.
