The
F56 MINI John Cooper Works is a hot little hatch with a 230 horsepower
2.0 liter turbo engine. But if you want something a little bit more
spicy let us present to you the unique Manhart MINI F300. This tuned
MINI is a true pocket rocket with stripes of gold.
Yep, here’s a small city car with golden
stripes all over it. But if we gloss over that, Manhart MINI F300 is
actually a pretty cool little thing, finished in a lovely British Racing
Green and featuring multi-spoke 19-inch wheels. Granted, the wheels are
gold as well, but they come wrapped in 235/35 tires which Manhart says
contribute greatly to the go kart-like driving feel of the vehicle.
The best part of Manhart MINI F300 JCW,
however, is the engine. The German BMW specialist has worked its magic
on this BMW-sourced engine and fitted it with modified software, Wagner
intercooler, and a sport exhaust system with custom downpipes and valve
control. The net result of these changes is 300 horsepower and 470 Nm of
torque.
To keep the front-wheel-drive car in
check in spite of the extra oomph it is now rocking, Manhart has
equipped the MINI with KW adjustable coilover variant 3 and carbon strut
brace. Improving the luxury feel of the car, they have installed an
Alcantara wrapped steering wheel as well as leather and Alcantara
upholstery.
