We have seen Brabus Mercedes AMG GT
600 on a number of occasions, the latest being the 2016 Geneva Motor
Show. Now the tuner has released photos of a new AMG GT S they’ve
finished, and it is by far the coolest example so far. The thing’s full
of wonderful little details.
At first glance you may not notice many
differences between this Brabus Mercedes AMG GT and the other models
you’ve seen before. But when you get up close with it, you notice the
exquisite carbon fiber details in the bumpers and side strakes, the rear
diffuser, the cool new rear wing, and those magnificent carbon
tailpipes.
Another highlight of this car is the set
of ultra-light BRABUS Monoblock F forged wheels it features along with
sport suspension, giving the car a great stance and improved handling.
Also sporty in this car is the exhaust system which combined with the
PowerXtra B40 power module results in a boost in power from 510 to 600
horsepower with 750 Nm (553 lb-ft) of torque. Performance-wise, the car
does 0 to 100 km/h (62 mph) in just 3.6 seconds and can reach a top
speed of 325 km/h (201 mph).
But the best thing about this particular
Brabus Mercedes AMG GT, for our money, is the interior. Besides all the
usual good stuff – like all the gadgets, glass roof, and spot-on driving
position – this car benefits from sumptuous blue leather upholstery and
accents, sport pedals, and illuminated Brabus side sills as well as
branded floor mats.
