If you are not familiar with Mansory Gronos,
it’s the tuner’s upgrade program for the Mercedes G-Class (all variants
of it) and it is widely acknowledged as one of the best. At the 2016
Geneva Motor Show Mansory unveiled a Facelift version of this car with
even more joie de vivre than before.
The Mansory Gronos Facelift comes with
new carbon aerodynamic parts including significantly wider fenders
complete with large side skirts, adding a full 40 millimetres to the
length of the vehicle. The revised front and rear profiles get new
headlights, off-road bumpers and new carbon detailing. Complementing the
looks is a set of distinctive 22 inches XXL wheels and a hand-applied
leather interior treatment.
What really sets the new Mansory
Gronos apart, however, is performance package including a newly designed
exhaust system, from the manifold to the stainless steel double end
pipes which boosts the power out of the AMG 5.5 liter bi-turbo V8 from
540 horsepower to a massive 840 hp and a maximum torque of (electronically limited) 1,150 Nm. That ought to make off roading with this car a lot more fun.
