Ferrari 458 Italia by Prior Design
Receives an extra 45 PS
Prior Design has elaborated an upgrade package tailored to
the Ferrari 458 Italia.
Even though it has been replaced for quite some time, the
458 Italia is still a car with great potential in the eyes of tuners and now
Prior Design decided to apply one of their body kits to further boost its
appeal. Work started at the front where there is a new bumper with side wings
along with a different hood while the side profile reveals new skirts with rear
attachments optimizing airflow.
At the back resides a new bumper which incorporates a
diffuser and there's also a tailgate spoiler to enhance downforce over the rear
axle. Prior Design have also mounted their own set of 21-inch front and 22-inch
rear wheels, but the customer can also order various designs from BBS, ADV.1,
HRE and Vossen.
The V8 4.5-liter engine has received a power package
boosting output by 45 PS (33 kW) to a grand total of 615 PS (452 kW). The additional
oomph was obtained through software optimization and by mounting a custom
exhaust system which was then tested on the infamous Nürburgring.
