Scandinavia’s Finest BMW M3 Borrows 550-HP V10 From BMW M5

And it can be yours for under $50,000.
This stunning 1989 E30 BMW M3 is self-titled as the best in Scandinavia. Finished in Metallic Black, the no-expense-spared project has been fitted with a 5.0-liter V10 taken from a 2006 BMW M5, tuned to deliver 555 hp and 402 lb-ft of torque and mated to a ZF 5-speed manual taken from a 5 Series. Styling has been kept stock, but the chassis is beefed up with front brakes and calipers from a Porsche 911 GT3 Cup and M3 CSL, H&R lowered suspension, Millway coilover kit, 17-inch BBS Challenge alloys, and a stainless-steel exhaust.
It also comes with Sparco Evo seats and weighs just 1,300 kg. The seller is asking for 359,000 Swedish Kroners, which equates to a shade under $50,000. That’s a serious chunk of change for a E30 M3, but this is one serious car. You can check it out humiliating an M6 in the following video in case you’re in any doubt. Hat tip to Henrik Lind!
