New quickest and fastest Porsche 997 Turbo 1/4 mile record - ESmotor goes 9.096 @ 155.983

Congratulations to ESmotor located in Istanbul, Turkey for their new Porsche 997 Turbo 1/4 mile record. ESmotor managed a 9.096 elapsed time which exceeds the closest competitor by over half a second. Their 155.893 just barely edges out the previous fastest 997 trap which was 149.1 set by EVOMS.

The ESmotor 997 Turbo is a 997.1 model with a Tiptronic (automatic) transmission. This record was set in high 90 degree temps at the Bahrain dragstrip. A video of the run is below and the car has a hell of a launch to put it mildly.
