One
of the most incredible cars at this year’s Art Basel Miami was, without a
doubt, the Metro Wrapz Mercedes S550, created in collaboration with
Vossen Wheels and IAE. The RENNtech-tuned S-Class showed up wearing a
modern urban camo wrap that glows in the dark!
Metro Wrapz Mercedes S550 is lowered on a
set of Vossen Wheels and benefits from engine refinement program from
RennTECH. But that’s just Metro Wrapz being thorough. Nobody’s going to
even think about the underpinnings when they see this car because of the
all-consuming visual impact of that wonderful wrap.
This, of course, is not just some crazy wrap
designed to make the car stand out. The prepared this car for Art
Basel, and what they’ve done with it is truly artistic. It looks
absolutely amazing, whether under natural light, or when exposed to a
projector which brings out other good parts of the wrap.
As for the technicalities, the
RENNtech engine kit for the Metro Wrapz Mercedes S550 includes a
proprietary ECU upgrade for now, and it promises huge gains in
performance over the standard 450-hp tune.
