With 557 hp on tap, the Mercedes-Benz E63 AMG is one of the fastest four-door sedans in the world as we recently found out in our exciting test drive. Not dissuaded by this fact, the crew at Posaidon has extensively upgraded the German sedan and now dubs it the RS 850.
As the name suggests, Posaidon has managed to significantly increase power to the 853 hp mark which represents an impressive 296 hp gain over the standard car. Additionally, torque has increased even further from 720 Nm to a neck-snapping 1300 Nm which the company promises will render occupants speechless.
To achieve the extra power, two upgraded turbochargers have been installed as well as improved air cooling. Additionally, an entirely new exhaust system with racing sports catalysers and revised turbocharger downpipes have been installed alongside tweaks to the car’s computer system. When it is all said and done, Posaidon claims the car can rocket to an electronically limited top speed of 345 km/h.
