HSV GTS Walkinshaw Performance W507 Churns Out 680 Horsepower

Based on the Holden Commodore VF, the Gen-F series HSV GTS is one powerful sedan. With 430 kW (577 hp) and 740 Nm (546 lb-ft) of torque, the bruiser from the Land Down Under is no slouch, but there’s always somebody out there that needs even more oomph.

This is where Walkinshaw Performance’s engineers come on the scene, delivering a monstrous tune for the highly popular HSV GTS. Dubbed the W507 and priced at AUD 7,990 ($6,605) supplied and fitted, the package hikes the supercharged 6.2-liter LSA Gen IV V8 to 507 kW (680 ponies) and 850 Nm (627 lb-ft).

“As with everything we do the key objective is to engineer a package that exceeds our customer expectations without compromising the vehicle driveability,” said Walkinshaw Performance general manager Tony Harris. He was adamant to add that “every single component that makes up this package is unique in its design.”

The dough you spend to make your HSV GTS go faster goes into a lot of bits and bobs, including a pulley manufactured by the tuner itself.
