Earlier this year, Steve Dinan put up for sale his BMW 1M S3-R and the tuned up hot coupe is up for grabs again. The 1M S3-R shows up on Dupont Registry
with a base price of $99,000, exactly $20,000 more than the original
asking price on Craigslist and significant more than the base MSRP of
$47,030.
The 2011 Dinan S3-R 1M
now has 13,000 miles and it is signed by Steve Dinan himself. BMW
factory warranty is still in place until Sept 30, 2015 and the car is
located at Bimmers R Us in St Louis.Dinan gave the BMW 1M a significant power increase. The super sporty “baby-M” now outputs 444 horsepower at 6,350 rpm and a stump-pulling 450 lb-ft of torque at 3,300 rpm, thanks to the Dinan Stage 3 kit.
The Stage 3 kit includes a carbon fiber cold air intake, a high-performance intercooler, ECU stage 3 map, high capacity oil cooler, racing coilover suspension, lightweight tubular adjustable front anti-roll bar and Dinan’s monoball kit.
The tuned up 1M also comes with stunning and highly dynamic BBS wheels, Dinan-Brembo brakes, carbon-fibre rear spoiler, mirror caps and much fatter Michelin Pilot Super Sports.
Dinan’s adjustable coil-over suspension, anti-roll bar, wheel bearing and rear toe-link kit completely transforms the handling of the diminutive M car from understeery to brilliantly neutral.
S3-R BMW 1M achieves 60 mph in less than 4 seconds.
