Following some successful fiddling with the S63 AMG Coupe,
Voltage Design has now stepped up its game, adding two more doors and
four extra cylinders, upgrading the Mercedes S65 AMG sedan. The hugely
expensive ‘Project S65’ unleashes the beast inside the Merc, extracting
720 horsepower out of it.
Thanks to new software, new downpipes and racing air filters, Voltage Design Mercedes S65 AMG pumps out 720 horsepower and 1,150 Nm of max torque, which is considerably more than the standard 630 hp and 1,100 Nm. The best part of this package is the elimination of the top speed limiter, enabling the S65 to reach 320 km/h (200 mph).
Voltage Design Mercedes S65 AMG will remain in check at that kind of speed thanks to upgraded braking system featuring 420/40 mm discs on the front and 370/32 mm discs on the rear axle. The tuner also provides a set of 21-inch wheels with high-performance tires, and a body kit consisting of front spoiler, front apron wings, side skirts and mirror caps, Voltage side logos, rear diffuser and roof spoiler.
As for the pricing, the body kit costs a whopping 25,000 Euros, plus an extra 3,000 for the canon fiber bonnet, the braking package runs for 14,800 Euros, and the engine treatment sets you back 7,899 Euros.
