Aston
Martin’s bespoke division known as ‘Q’ has released a new project,
built based on an order from the car maker’s official dealer in Dallas.
They wanted this Aston Martin DB9 Volante to be a symbol of elegance and purity, and Q delivered.
To achieve that the Q division’s crack team of designers and craftsmen painted the Aston Martin DB9 Volante
in ‘Morning Frost’, a refreshingly cool shade of white, and garnished
it with ‘Blue Satin’ carbon fiber details. You find the exotic material
exquisitely applied to the front spoiler lip and side mirrors, matching the blue canvas roof and the two-tone interior.
The interior is another great thing about this Aston Martin DB9 Volante.
The seats are upholstered in white, with blue back and bottom parts,
all garnished with contrast stitching. The dashboard and door panels are
mostly white, but there are blue panels on the top of the doors, and a
blue steering wheel and instrument cluster, giving the whole thing an
aboutley unique and wonderful look.
2014 Aston Martin DB9, in both Coupe and
Volante forms, is powered by a V12 engine developing 517 hp and 620 Nm
of torque. Key features of the AM11 unit include a revised block and new
head including dual variable valve timing, enlarged throttle bodies,
uprated fuel pump, revised intake manifold and machined combustion
chambers.
