Could a Scion xB really be the car of the 2014 SEMA Show?

Well, if it’s the Scion x Riley Hawk Skate Tour xB, then yeah, it might actually happen.
Designed by KMA productions, this Scion xB was created using the interests of professional skateboarder Riley Hawk. It combines music, 1970s style and of course skateboarding. One look at the outside and it’s clear the xB has been customized to mimic conversion vans of the 1970s. It’s like Dazed and Confused at ¾ scale.riley-hawk-scion-xb-05.jpg
The rear most windows have been replaced with a panel containing iconic bubble windows and the roof has been extended at the top. A set of shiny mag wheels have been added to all four corners and of course no conversion van would be complete without a set of dual side-dump exhausts, but sadly these ones are fake.
Inside there are vintage 1970 elements like a wood-grain décor, a mini fridge, shag carpeting, an 8-track player and a Pioneer Sound System that is able to have a guitar played through it.riley-hawk-scion-xb-06.jpg
Passengers are treated to van-like plush captain-style chairs front and back and a table – a staple for any conversion van. Not forgetting that this vehicle was indeed designed for a skateboarder, there is a cargo box with an integrated INNO rack system to store skateboards.
Even if this graphic package isn’t for everyone, we can’t help but feel if Scion sold the xB with this body package it might sell more a few as it is the world’s first retro-inspired party van.riley-hawk-scion-xb-03.jpg
