German tuner PP-Performance is in the process of developing a pretty awesome power kit for the BMW M6 Gran Coupe,
aiming to make it the fastest 6-series in the world. The figures they
are gunning for are 800 horsepower, 950 Newton meters of torque, and a
top speed of 328 kmph (203 mph).
PP-Performance BMW M6 RS800 package is
actually ready, but each one needs to be tested on both German Autobahn
and Abu Dhabi desert to make sure it can deliver that kind of
performance anytime, anywhere, regardless of the conditions. In
comparison, a standard M6 has 560 hp and 650 Nm of torque.
The main ingredients of PP-Performance
BMW M6 kit include the tuner’s own special software, special downpipes,
Akrapovic titanium exhaust system and BMC racing filters. The package
costs 14,999 Euros, which considering the huge gain is actually pretty
good value for money.
In the meantime, PP-Performance has had one of their RS800 Gran Coupes wrapped by Cam Shaft
in an exclusive Electric Lime vinyl, giving it a look as unique as the
experience of driving a four-door luxury sedan with 800 horsepower. The
Gran Coupe is widely considered as the finest M car currently in
production. The RS800 kit only makes sure that’s true.
