This gem was hiding in the Hawk brake pads booth with absolutely no
details on it. How do you have something so awesome in your both and not
have any details? It is obvious that is an LS V8 under the rear bonnet
but thanks to some online digging PorscheBoost found it out it is an
LS3.
This car apparently belongs to whomever owns http://www.911dv8.com/
and an e-mail has been sent to get further details. From what we
gathered racetechservices.com built this car and wraped it up just in
time for SEMA.
Debate on an LS swapped 911 will no doubt rage but let's focus on things
other than the powerplant. Take a look at the headlights. They are
inspired by the 918 Spyder and the result definitely makes the 996 look
more modern.
The widebody itself was the best executed 'RWB style' at the show.
Whether it is custom or not is not stated. What we do know is it looked
fantastic in person.
The HRE wheels are a great choice but the white and green just do not mesh in this website's opinion. Purely a subjective point.
Regardless, this is the best Porsche of the SEMA show in the opinion of PorscheBoost.
